Paul Singer is the Founder, President, Co-Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Elliott Investment Management, a hedge fund company headquartered in New York City. He also serves as a member of the firm’s Management, Risk, and Valuation Committees. He is a hedge fund magnate and activist investor best known for his prominent and combative dealmaking. He is a strong opponent of raising taxes for the wealthiest 1% of taxpayers and opposes aspects of the Dodd-Frank Act.
