University of Bielefeld
Founded in 1969, Bielefeld University is one of Germany's newer universities, and considers itself a "reform" university, following a different style of organization and teaching than the established universities. As an internationally-oriented university, it combines a strong focus on research with a particular emphasis on top-quality teaching.
